7-Day Bushcraft Training Course
Master Essential Wilderness Skills in the Heart of New Zealand
Embark on a comprehensive 7-day bushcraft training adventure that combines essential wilderness survival skills, river crossing techniques, and advanced navigation in some of New Zealand’s most breathtaking and remote backcountry.
This all-inclusive course merges our 2-day Bushcraft, 1-day River Crossing, and Advanced Navigation & Survival modules into one powerful learning experience. Whether you're preparing for overnight alpine tramps or aiming to gain the confidence to explore rugged wilderness independently, this course delivers the skills and knowledge you need.
Led by expert local instructors and guides, you'll gain hands-on experience in Craigieburn Forest Park and Arthur’s Pass National Park—two of New Zealand’s most iconic outdoor locations. You'll learn to read topographic maps, use a compass accurately, build survival shelters, assess weather patterns, and safely navigate steep terrain and rivers.
